From Abilene take US 277 north through Stamford, Haskell, and Weinert. Just  north of Weinert .8 of a mile on Hwy US 277 take FM 1720 east for 8.8 miles. Turn north (5.1 miles total) on FM 222 until the Y in the road -- bear right on FM 266 toward Goree and then turn right (6.4 miles) (east) on FM 1608. The road should lead you to the lake ramp.
